Awaiting

An offer was given
Simply just an offer
Of giving,
Not asking anything in return
Of what is offered to be given
Yet the offer was given nonetheless

An answer is needed
Just of yes or no
The offer,
May not be as good
Or perhaps just unacceptable
Still an answer is needed

Patiently waiting
May the offer
Accepted or at least
Responded...
This whole time of waiting
Makes me rotting

God knows
How this heart is trembling
Fearing upon
What I couldn't see
Of all the test
This is the one I might
Cannot take...
